Samantha Who = easily the best 1/2 hour sitcom that premiered this season. Funny and innovative with a great cast of characters. I am engaged and entertained every second of the show. What more could you ask for?
Todd Grinnell guest starred as Nathan this last episode. I had the pleasure of meeting Todd a couple of months ago and he was a friendly, personable guy. His name has been stuck in my head since, so seeing him on Samantha Who? was a lovely surprise. I look forward to seeing him more in the future!

Samantha Who? is not a 1/2 hour situation comedy. Sitcoms are traditionally multi camera in a studio, with a laugh track. SW? is a single camera comedy.
It's okay, TVHapster, I know that was just a small uncharacteristic slip for you.
Tvhipster, I believe you are the one that is mistaken. Yes, Samantha Who? and all other comedic half-hour shows are a derivative of the 'situation comedy'. The term 'single camera' is the style through which the sitcom is shot.
I don't think your interpretation is the hard and fast rule, TVHopster. Use of that phrase for single camera comedies is misleading. If you ask any average American or anyone in the industry, they'll certainly disagree with you.
woah there hips and hops....slow down, you're moving too fast! I don't know how we can settle this. I actually hesitated about writing "sitcom," but something told me I should.
Thanks for the support, hops, and hips? thanks for trying to educate me.
Well that someone, who informed you was correct. I'm going to ask those in the entertainment industry what their definition is. I will report back.
